Thanks for stopping by. I am Moniqueca (pronounced mo-knee-kuh), founder of We Dream of Baby. I am an advanced trained certified birth & postpartum doula in addition to being a childbirth & community breastfeeding educator.

As a doula, I get help parents physically and emotionally navigate child birth (labor and delivery) and recovery as you focus on your family’s new addition. My goal is to ensure you feel supported and equipped to nourish your new baby. We work together in collaboration to champion your child-birth and postpartum journey!

I have a bachelor's degree in Sociology, and I also work in community mental health as a Crisis Clinician. As you might be able to tell, one of my passions is to help others in those most impactful moments.

Reflecting on my own childbirth experience is what brought me to birthwork. I recall saying to a close friend that, "I just wish I had someone there with me, to talk about what happened," and to support me with those swift & tough decisions I made. If only I could advocate for others, the same way I wished that there was someone on the bed-side with me.

That all being said, I am dedicated to serving communities that I interact with. As WDOB grows, I plan to continuously identify and update how I show up. It's my dream to support a community of birthworkers, prepare parents for inviting their newest family member, and empowering families in their first steps of their legacy.
